Jeffery Dahmer

The American serial killer and sex offender Jeffrey Dahmer, whose full name was Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, became well-known for his horrible deeds. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 21, 1960, and committed most of his crimes in the 1980s and the first few years of the 1990s. 17 young men and boys were subjected to sexual assault, murder, dismemberment, and occasionally cannibalism as a result of Dahmer's crimes.

Police uncovered images of dismembered bodies and remains in Dahmer's flat in 1991, which led to the discovery of his crimes. After being detained, he confessed to the killings and gave terrifying details about his activities throughout his interrogation.

Dahmer received 16 consecutive life sentences without the possibility of release in 1992 after being found guilty of 16 murders. He was murdered in 1994 while incarcerated by a fellow prisoner.

Due to the horrific nature of his murders and the sheer volume of victims, Jeffrey Dahmer's case continues to rank among the most notorious in American serial killer history. Many books, documentaries, and films have been made on his life in an effort to comprehend the mind of a serial killer and the influences that led to his deeds.
